In 2010 Turkovic received the German award "ECHO KLASSIK" (equivalent to the "Grammy") for the
CD "Flying Saxophone Circus" in which he conducted the German ensemble Selmer Saxhharmonic.

M. Turkovic's book "Die seltsamsten Wiener der Welt , Nikolaus Harnoncourt
und sein Concentus Musicus" is now available in a Japanese translation.

Released by Camerata Tokyo in 2007, the music of Wynton Marsalis, "Quintet for Bassoon and
String Quartet"!  This piece is not yet available for performance, but as soon as it is published it will
be posted on this site.

Bassoonsits who want to perform the Gershwin arrangement with strings please get the music from
WARNER MUSIC, not from Turkovic. The version with piano is NOT available!
