| Milan Turkovic is one of the few internationally known bassoon soloists. This page is intended to inform the general public about his life and work. This is a wonderful musical journal that will take you further into the daily life of today's classical musician. | NEWS: M. Turkovic's book "Die seltsamsten Wiener der Welt , Nikolaus Harnoncourt und sein Concentus Musicus" will be available in a Japanese translation sometime in 2006. Released by Camerata Tokyo in 2007, the music of Wynton Marsalis, "Quintet for Bassoon and String Quartet"! This piece is not yet available for performance, but as soon as it is published it will be posted on this site. Bassoonsits who want to perform the Gershwin arrangement with strings please get the music from WARNER MUSIC, not from Turkovic. The version with piano is NOT available! |
